Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks on various materials, including steel and aluminum.
- Assembly and fit-out of caravans and motorised RVs
- Reading and interpreting basic drawings and measurements
- Use of hand and power tools within a workshop environment
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality targets
- Assist in the development of new fabrication techniques and processes.
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace
- Working collaboratively with production teams to meet targets
About You
- Proven experience as a welder/fabricator, preferably in the building and construction industry.
- Relevant welding certifications (e.g., MIG, TIG, ARC).
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Trade qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a production environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
