Assistant Manager, Technology Partnerships

The Assistant Manager will drive the development and management of strategic technology partnerships to support the Authority’s digital transformation agenda. This role bridges business needs and external technology capabilities, ensuring that third-party solutions (e.g., ticketing systems, CDP, MAE, POS, eCommerce) are effectively integrated, contractually compliant, and performance driven. The ideal candidate combines technical acumen, vendor management expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver seamless partnership outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Partnership & Vendor Management
•    Identify, onboard, and manage technology partners and system integrators.
•    Negotiate and oversee contracts, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Multi-Vendor Integration
•    Lead integration projects involving multiple vendors, ensuring interoperability between platforms (e.g., ticketing, CDP & MAE, POS, eCommerce) while mitigating technical and contractual risks.
Project & Delivery Oversight
•    Support end-to-end implementation of partnership-driven initiatives. 
•    Develop joint roadmaps, track milestones, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
Stakeholder & Communication Bridge
•    Act as the primary liaison between internal business units, IT teams, and external partners. 
•    Translate technical complexities into business language and vice versa.
Compliance & Risk Management
•    Ensure all technology partnerships adhere to data privacy regulations (PDPO, PIPL, GDPR) and relevant compliance frameworks. 
•    Proactively identify and mitigate partnership risks.
Continuous Improvement
•    Monitor partner performance and market trends. Drive innovation by recommending new technology partners or optimising existing collaborations.
•    Perform any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.

You should
•    possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field;
•    have 5+ years of experience in system implementation, technology partnership, or vendor management;
•    have proven experience in multi-vendor integration projects (contracts, SLAs, performance metrics);
•    have experience with ticketing systems, CDP & MAE, POS, or eCommerce systems is a strong plus;
•    have knowledge of data privacy regulations (PDPO, PIPL, GDPR);
•    be familiar with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies is a plus;
•    be able to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously;
•    demonstrate leadership in managing cross-functional teams and external partners;
•    have strong communication and collaboration skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders;
•    have government project experience is a plus; and
•    be proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
