Verify all guest checks and ring up amounts on register.
Receive money, checks and make change for all food and beverage transactions in assigned venue.
Must be familiar with procedure outlined in Cost Control Manual for Messes (BUPERSINST 7010.13).
May be required to take orders over the phone for take-out or delivery orders and ensure the orders are correct and complete.
Performs reconciliation C.A.R.E (controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively) Training Standards for the serving of alcoholic beverages.
May be required to perform related service functions (i.e. assist with banquet set-ups, replenish service stations or beverage dispensers etc.
Must be able to meet difficult and unpleasant situations with tact and diplomacy.
Must be able to perform the aforementioned tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Must speak, read and understand English language.
Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health

EDUCATION:
High school graduate or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years’ experience in cash handling procedures in receipt, processing, ringing-up sales, direct handling of cash transactions and cash accountability control.
