About the Role
Strive Community Care provides therapeutic home environments for children and young people with histories of complex trauma, abuse and neglect.
As we are growing as an organisation, we are now looking for Casual Therapeutic Care Workers in the Gympie region to play a key role in supporting children and young persons in their healing journey through providing care in therapeutic homes. Therapeutic Care Workers also mentor children and young persons in OOHC through the WeStrive Mentoring Program. These positions are required to work across 24/7 rotating rostered shifts, including sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
We utilise a strong Therapeutic Framework and unique CREATE Model of Care with a focus on establishing holistic safety. Children and young people are provided with a sense of family, support to heal, opportunity to positively connect with others, and rebuild their lives.
