Senior Specialist, Product Management
Overview
The Security Solutions team at Mastercard delivers technology, products, and services that facilitate seamless, fast, and secure payments across the network and the internet of things (IoT). These solutions leverage the latest technologies, a vast array of data resources, and artificial intelligence (AI) to provide services that benefit the entire payments ecosystem. Additionally, the goal of the team is to protect and ensure the integrity of the payment system - including physical and digital channels by delivering fraud management and mitigation products that address the entire account lifecycle and work equally to ensure a positive experience for customers.
The candidate will play a pivotal role in partnering with the regional product & regional customer teams to support the full suite of Security Solutions, across Identity, Financial Crimes, Fraud, AI, Decisioning, Cybersecurity and Resiliency. This entails collaborating with internal partners and stakeholders within the region to lead performance tracking and measurement, support planning, forecasting and help manage to overall business performance. The candidate will also provide support for customer business reviews as applicable.
Role
• Lead the market analysis for the Security Solutions product suite, including retrospective dashboard development, prospective performance forecasting, and analytics to support development, market enablement and strategic program planning.
• Drive the planning, coordination and preparation of product analysis, ensuring alignment with market needs and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including global product, sales, account management, and customer success to ensure seamless product performance measurement and fraud analysis.
• Monitor and analyze customer feedback to inform product enhancements and strategies.
• Take ownership of product performance activities, including presenting at quarterly fraud reviews, preparing for internal webinars, and monitoring post-launch performance.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and competitive opportunities. Leverage these insights to contribute to product roadmap discussions and strategic decision-making.
All About you
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance or a related field or equivalent with preference experience in payments (but not necessary)
• Passion for security, innovation, and digital payments
• Experience working with both large and emerging Financial Services, Technology, Service Providers, Processors, and/or digital platform partners is an asset
• Ability to act with a persistent and relentless sense of urgency.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Understanding of payments technology and application of that knowledge to address customer/market needs.
• Ability to think strategically about complex issues, driving thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
• Self-starter, highly organized, collaboration-minded and results driven.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent relationship building skills; able to build and maintain strong, positive working relationships across multiple business functions.
• Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
• Overnight travel required (5% - 10%).

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in Canada, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
