About the Role
We are seeking a PMO to join our Renewable Energy Construction Department. The PMO will serve as a central function within the Construction management team, acting as a key integrator across projects and stakeholders.
In this role, the PMO will support and oversee project scheduling for large-scale renewable energy project, including Solar PV, storage, and related infrastructure during the construction phase along with responsiblity for driving reporting, data management, and performance visibility across the portfolio.
The PMO will work closely with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and senior management to ensure alignment, transparency, and informed decision-making, supporting the successful delivery of projects in accordance with contractual milestones and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and oversee detailed project schedules from early planning through construction, commissioning, and handover
- Monitor overall project and portfolio progress, identifying risks, delays, and mitigation strategies
- Perform schedule analysis, critical path analysis, and progress tracking across projects
- Lead the preparation of management reports, dashboards, and performance insights
- Maintain and enhance BI tools, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates
- Provide structured updates and key insights to management to support decision-making
- ordinate inputs across engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors to ensure alignment
- Support change management and development of recovery plans when required
- Capture, document, and implement lessons learned across projects to drive continuous improvement
- Develop, standardize, and enforce company and departmental procedures, tools, and best practices
- Drive standardization of planning, reporting, and control processes within the department
- Ensure alignment between project execution, reporting outputs, and overall business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in a PMO, Planning, or Project Controls role within construction projects (renewable energy – advantage)
- Strong knowledge of scheduling tools such as MS Project
- Experience with reporting tools and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI) – advantage
- Good understanding of construction methodologies and full project lifecycle
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with EPC contractors – advantage
