Apprenticeship as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk (f/m/d).
At Neumann Kaffee Gruppe, you will be at the heart of global logistics. You will learn how international supply chains work and how coffee travels from plantations around the equator through European ports and finally into cups all over the world. You won’t just be responsible for transport processes – you will become part of a global community.
Your responsibilities
Variety guaranteed: You will rotate through exciting stations within various companies of our group, such as Bernhard Rothfos, InterAmerican Coffee or NKG Kala Hamburg. This gives you a comprehensive insight into different business models, teams and perspectives.
Global business – in Hamburg: Be part of international logistics and learn how coffee from more than 50 countries of origin reaches our customers worldwide – and how you contribute to that process.
Hands-on logistics experience: You will accompany our green coffee imports from A to Z. From coordinating information flows to ensuring on-time deliveries and smooth collaboration with all parties involved – including customs.
Learning with depth: In addition to attending vocational school for logistics, shipping and tourism, you will benefit from internal training courses, trainee projects and extensive know-how about coffee.
Team & networking: Work alongside real coffee professionals, gain insights into global markets and develop both professionally and personally.
Your profile
Ready to go: You hold a secondary school certificate (Realschulabschluss) with very good grades in German, mathematics and English, a (specialized) university entrance qualification, or a comparable school-leaving certificate – and you are eager to get started.
Business mindset: You are interested in economic relationships and want to understand how international logistics works.
Language skills: You have very good English skills and ideally some international experience.
Organizational talent: You think analytically and enjoy working in a structured, solution-oriented way.
Proactive attitude: You approach new tasks with initiative, motivation and commitment.
Team player: You are communicative, open-minded and enjoy working with others – also across departmental boundaries.
Digital native: You are comfortable using MS Office and digital tools.
Passion for coffee: You find coffee exciting and would like to become part of a community that truly lives and breathes coffee.
