About the Opportunity
Our Cardiometabolics & Informatics (CMI) business is excited to be recruiting for a brand new commercial position of Business Development Manager Europe, driving existing Informatics business and unlocking new markets across target European countries (to include France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Spain, Czechia, and Poland).
Based in Ireland (or alternatively Germany), this field-based role will report to the Informatics International Business Manager and focus on identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, expanding strategic partnerships, and supporting country organizations to accelerate adoption of informatics solutions. The position combines strategic market development, complex solution selling, and cross‑functional leadership, working closely with varied internal stakeholder groups to deliver sustainable revenue growth.
What you’ll do:
Drive business growth and revenue for the informatics portfolio across assigned European markets
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities, including enterprise level customers, multi country agreements, and strategic accounts.
• Develop and manage a robust pipeline aligned with regional and corporate growth targets.
• Support country sales teams in complex deals, including value proposition development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.
• Lead or contribute to RFP/RFQ responses and high value customer presentations.
Support Market & Strategy Development
• Define and execute a European business development strategy for informatics solutions in alignment with global objectives, analysing market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape etc. impacting adoption and identifying opportunities for new solutions and partnerships.
• Contribute to regional forecasting, budgeting, and long range planning.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, including C level executives, IT leaders, laboratory managers, clinical leaders, and procurement stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to customers.
• Work closely with Product Management and R&D to relay insights and requirements, partner with Marketing to develop regional value messaging, positioning and go-to-market initiatives.
• Collaborate with Implementation, Project Management, and Customer Support teams to ensure smooth transition from sale to delivery and long term customer satisfaction.
• Support training and enablement of local sales teams on informatics offerings and value-based selling.
Excellence in Reporting & Governance
• Accurately track opportunities, forecasts, and activities in CRM systems, providing regular updates on pipeline, market activity, and strategic initiatives as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and regional regulations.
