ABOUT THE ROLE
This part-time position (28 hours per week) offers a dynamic urgent care environment where:
- Perform accurate nursing assessments and deliver evidence‑based care across a wide range of treatments
- Provide ongoing, culturally safe care that supports patients and their whānau
- Maintain clear clinical documentation while promoting patient education and understanding
- Contribute to team discussions, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives
As we expand our hours, you’ll play a key role in delivering care into the evenings, helping ensure the community has access to urgent healthcare beyond traditional hours.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’re a nurse who:
- Is a NZ Registered Nurse with a current APC
- Has experience in urgent care settings
- Is confident, adaptable, and enjoys thinking on your feet
- Brings calm, compassionate care, even when it’s busy
- Enjoys being part of a team-first environment
- Is flexible across evenings and weekends
- Is motivated by making a difference in a growing community service
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Triage, assess, and deliver urgent and primary care
- Support patients and whānau with empathy and professionalism
- Work closely with clinicians to ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation (MedTech)
- Uphold quality, safety, and best practice standards
