Senior Executive ‐ Color Lab

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to oversee all activities of the lab to bulk/bulk to bulk integration in order to assure repeatability/consistency of dyeing and finishing process as per priorities/plan so as to meet customer’s Quality requirements/ delivery requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow the bulk dye plan/deliveries, identify requirements/priorities, schedule work across shifts, coordinate/communicate with the planners on a frequent basis in order to meet delivery requirements/facilitate on time delivery of bulk batches to customers.
Communicate all color decisions with the colour team/lab team and ensure that they are fully understood, recorded and followed when dyeing future batches in order to facilitate continuity of shade across batches.
Lead/control the overall first bulk/ bulk to bulk dyeing cycle, monitor/assess bulk dyed to finished continuity, advise on any key observations, assist in solving critical colour issues and personally carry out any visual tests, if required to ensure colour consistency.
Assist in the analysis of first bulk/batch to batch performance within/across shifts to determine FTT/ RFT, propose solutions for any deviations in order to prevent recurrence of all failures and maintain the entire first bulk ‘history’ card to facilitate batch continuity when dyeing future batches, visit customers as and when necessary.
Coordinate with the technical executive colour lab, set standards for the lab dipping process by considering greige lots, colour and customer requirements such as fastness/rubbing or special finishers in order to be compatible to other processes such as dyeing & finishing.
Consult with the sales & marketing/colour team to further understand the customer’s specific colour matching requirements and communicate same to the team in order to ensure that customer requirements are met. (e.g. go redder).
Measure/report performance of shifts and ensure that there is a continuous dialogue in order to facilitate performance of shift as per set standards/ criteria.
Visit regularly local factories/external colour approval parties to understand the colour examination systems/methods & tolerances.
