Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Artist with strong experience in building and optimizing art
pipelines between Autodesk Maya and the Unity Engine. This role requires a blend of technical expertise,
problem-solving ability, and collaboration with artists, animators, and engineers to streamline workflows and
improve production efficiency.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating scalable tools, automating repetitive tasks, and
enabling high-quality content creation for game development.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain robust tools and workflows for a seamless Maya to Unity content pipeline.
• Create automation tools for asset export, validation, import, rig handling, animation workflows, and
optimization.
• Collaborate closely with artists, animators, technical teams, and gameplay developers to improve
production efficiency.
• Optimize assets and workflows for performance, scalability, and maintainability within Unity.
• Troubleshot technical issues related to rigs, shaders, animations, prefabs, asset integration, and
engine compatibility.
• Build and maintain documentation for tools, workflows, and pipeline standards.
• Support the art team with technical problem-solving and workflow improvements.
• Ensure consistency and quality across game assets integrated into Unity.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies, plugins, and pipeline improvements when needed.
Required Skills & Experience
• 5–8 years of experience as a Technical Artist in game development.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Unity Engine.
• Proven experience building tools and automation workflows for Maya to Unity pipelines.
• Strong scripting/programming skills using Python, C#, or MEL.
• Good understanding of asset optimization, import/export workflows, and game-ready content
pipelines.
• Experience working with animation pipelines, rigs, prefabs, and scene management.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment.
Good to Have
• Experience working on AAA or live-service games.
• Knowledge of shaders, VFX workflows, or rendering pipelines.
• Experience with procedural tools and pipeline optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows for game content pipelines.
• Exposure to AI-assisted workflow automation is a plus.
