As a Working Student in Network Operations, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the smooth and efficient operations of our maritime network. Your main responsibility will be to oversee round-trip schedules, ensuring timely and reliable service for our vessels and partners.
- Maintaining schedule reliability for round voyages at the service/vessel level and improving schedule-related processes to meet customer demands
- Supporting IT projects focused on schedule optimization
- Overseeing round-trip schedules, considering berth availability and port performance
- Consolidating schedule-related information from regional teams
- Proactively preparing and implementing recovery measures for disruptions
- Guiding regional operations to ensure optimized network execution, as well as evaluating operational requirements and performance data
- Monitoring port congestion and providing feedback to relevant departments
- Conducting post-assessments of recovery measures to analyze cost, benefits and accuracy
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
- A strong desire and ability to learn new skills and adapt quickly
- Excellent multitasking abilities, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Open-minded and forward-thinking, comfortable working in a diverse environment
- Fluent in spoken and written English with strong communication skills
- Basic knowledge of maritime operations and scheduling is an advantage
- Proficient in using MS Office and other relevant software, as well as the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify patterns and a passion for continuous improvement and a customer-centric mindset
