Role description:
The Assistant Ministry Stores Controller (AMSC) supports the GFE Department in the accurate accounting and management of Government Furnished Equipment held within industry, ensuring full compliance with MOD Def Stan 05-99. The role involves processing and maintaining data to enable full tracking of material movements, supporting annual stock checks, and preparing compliance and reporting data. The AMSC also provides day-to-day support to Manufacturing and Projects, ensuring all activities operate within defined GFE BMS processes and governance requirements.

The BAE Systems Broad Oak GFE/Despatch Team:
The Assistant Ministry Stores Controller will be part of a team of 9 people covering all aspects of GFE (Government funded Equipment) activities, primarily for our Underwater Weapons contracts.
From receipt and short-term storage through to issue for work and despatch. The role requires diligent processing to maintain full MoD asset accountability to meet the requirements of Def Stan 05-099 while hardware is with BAE
