DESCRIPTION:
As a Senior HR Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will partner with and advise business leaders, supporting organizational success through effective people solutions. You will translate business strategy into effective HR initiatives while supporting our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You will lead comprehensive HR programs spanning talent management, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, and change management. Your contributions will support the organization as you help develop teams, cultivate leadership capabilities, and create an engaging culture grounded in our 4i values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of comprehensive HR experience, with demonstrated success as an HR Business Partner in a global environment
• Preferred Fields of Study: Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
• PHR/SPHR or equivalent HR certification desirable
• Strong business understanding with ability to translate strategy into actionable HR initiatives
• Experience in organizational design, change management, and talent development
• Advanced knowledge of HR practices including performance management, compensation, employee relations, and talent acquisition
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
• Demonstrated project management and implementation skills
• Effective consultation and collaboration abilities at all organizational levels
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally
• Experience working effectively in a matrix organization
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating across functions
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel up to 20% as needed
