We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to grow strategic accounts, develop market presence and drive revenue for our language services across the European Region. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional sales plans, managing key accounts, and partnering with delivery, marketing and product teams to position our end-to-end localization solutions. You will target enterprise and mid-market clients in sectors such as technology, life sciences, legal, e‑commerce and manufacturing, ensuring world-class customer experience and profitable growth.
Own sales strategy and planning for Europe and US markets, setting targets, forecasting pipeline and tracking progress against revenue goals.
Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities across enterprise and mid-market segments, using a consultative, solution-led approach.
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the primary commercial contact and trusted adviser for localization needs.
Develop proposals, commercial models and contract negotiations in collaboration with legal and finance to ensure margin and risk management.
Work closely with delivery, project management and linguistic teams to ensure successful onboarding, quality assurance and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain an active sales pipeline in the ATS/CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-up.
Lead market research and competitor analysis to inform positioning, pricing and service development for target verticals in Europe and the US.
Collaborate with marketing to develop demand-generation campaigns, case studies and events tailored to region-specific audiences.
Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings and networking events across both regions.
Mentor and support junior sales colleagues, sharing best practice for account development and managing complex sales cycles.
Ensure compliance with data protection, export controls and client confidentiality requirements across cross-border engagements.
Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in the translation, localization, language technology or closely related services industry, with demonstrable success selling into Europe and the US.
Proven track record of closing enterprise and mid-market deals and managing multi-stakeholder procurement cycles.
Strong commercial acumen with experience developing pricing models, statements of work and contractual terms suited to global clients.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clearly to technical and executive audiences.
Familiarity with translation/MT workflows, CAT tools and language technology trends (MT, TMS, terminology management) advantageous.
Experience using CRM/ATS systems for pipeline management and sales reporting; highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working across time zones and travel-ready for client meetings in Europe and the US.
Fluent English; additional European languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish) desirable but not essential.
Self-motivated, collaborative and able to work effectively in a multicultural, geographically distributed team.
