The Team:
Hospitals North provides health services across a wide geographical area of Northern Tasmania. Launceston General Hospital (LGH) is the principal referral hospital for a population of more than 250,000 people and is Tasmania’s second largest hospital.
LGH operates within the Tasmanian Role Delineation Framework as a Level 5 hospital and is the major referral centre for Northern Tasmania. The hospital delivers a comprehensive range of inpatient and ambulatory services to Launceston and surrounding communities and is the largest employer in the region, with approximately 4,000 staff.

The After Hours Nurse Manager (AHNM) works within the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) and provides leadership, oversight, and management of hospital operations after hours.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $134,109 to $140,384 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
