Successful candidates will join the IT Company which is part of a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe.
Chevron is seeking an experienced Vendor Management Analyst to play a critical role in governing and optimizing large‑scale IT infrastructure managed services. This position sits at the intersection of technology operations, commercial governance, and enterprise performance, supporting mission‑critical services across Chevron’s global IT environment. The role partners directly with senior technology leaders, procurement, finance, and strategic service providers to ensure operational reliability, contract integrity, financial transparency, and continuous performance improvement across infrastructure domains such as network, cloud, data platforms, and IT service operations. This position is well‑suited for professionals with prior experience in managed services, outsourcing, IT operations, or commercial governance who want to operate at enterprise scale and influence outcomes that materially impact business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day‑to‑day governance activities for infrastructure managed service providers, ensuring delivery aligns with contractual, operational, and security expectations.
Monitor and assess service performance against SLAs, KPIs, and operational commitments, identifying risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Drive disciplined follow‑up on escalations, remediation actions, and performance commitments through structured governance forums.
Partner with procurement and internal stakeholders to support contract execution, scope management, amendments, and service evolution.
Ensure governance decisions are backed by appropriate commercial and contractual mechanisms, protecting Chevron’s operational and financial position.
Support demand, scope, and consumption discussions across fixed‑fee and consumption‑based infrastructure services.
Analyze operational and financial data to provide clear, decision‑ready insights for leadership.
Support cost transparency, invoice validation, and forecast alignment for infrastructure service spend.
Identify delivery, governance, and commercial risks, escalating with clear recommendations and impact assessment.
Collaborate closely with Infrastructure Product Line Managers, Architecture, Security, Finance, and Operations leaders.
Influence outcomes across a complex, matrixed organization without direct authority.
Contribute to enterprise initiatives focused on resiliency, standardization, operational excellence, and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated no less than 5-year experience working with IT infrastructure managed services, such as network services, cloud platforms, data center or platform operations, IT service operations, or OT‑related IT services.
Hands‑on exposure to outsourced service delivery models, including SLA‑based, fixed‑fee, and/or consumption‑based services.
Proven experience managing or supporting vendor performance against contractual, financial, and operational commitments.
Practical experience partnering with procurement and finance on contracts, statements of work, service orders, scope changes, or renewals.
Ability to operate effectively in high‑governance and compliance‑driven environments, balancing accountability with relationship management.
Strong analytical capabilities with experience reviewing service performance metrics, operational KPIs, cost drivers, or financial trends.
Ability to translate data and analysis into clear, decision‑ready insights for senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated judgment in identifying and escalating delivery, performance, or commercial risks with appropriate recommendations.
Experience working in matrixed organizations, influencing outcomes without direct authority.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders with credibility.
Ability to manage complex conversations with service providers while maintaining strong professional relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large, global enterprise IT environments with complex infrastructure landscapes.
Prior exposure to multi‑vendor or service‑integrator models within infrastructure outsourcing.
Background in one or more of the following domains is a strong advantage:
Network services
Cloud platforms (IaaS / PaaS)
Data or platform foundations
IT service management and operations
OT or industrial IT environments
Experience supporting vendor governance forums, executive reviews, or structured performance cadence (monthly / quarterly reviews).
Familiarity with audit‑sensitive environments, financial controls, or regulated industries.
Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Prior experience in IT sourcing, vendor management, managed services, technology consulting, or operations roles.
