About the Role
We’re looking for an Auditor to join the Sime team at our Kerry Road office on a permanent, Monday to Friday basis.
In this role, you’ll gain diverse exposure across our Motors and Industrial divisions across Australasia, with opportunities to travel to New Zealand, South Australia, New South Wales, Melbourne, Papua New Guinea and New Caledonia.
As an Auditor, you will:
- Assist in the provision of independent reviews of the business based on the approved Group Corporate Assurance Plan, including but not limited to financial, operational, workplace health and safety, and environmental systems
- Assist in compiling audit findings and recommend enhancements to systems, processes and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of draft audit reports for immediate superior’s review
- Assist in planning and administration of reviews
- Analyse and identify key risks and assist with development of appropriate audit programs and tests
- Assist in drafting the audit report profiling findings/issues and recommendation actions for review
- Assist in the opening and closing meetings for management acceptance on review findings
- Identify and analyse the cause and risk of review findings and recommend improvement opportunities
- Assist in the Departmental Administrative and periodic reporting requirement

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
- Tertiary qualified in relevant discipline
- CA/CPA/CIA qualification or working towards the qualification
- Minimum of 2 years experience in supporting audit activities
- Citizenship or permanent residency
