Octal Philippines Inc. is looking for a Field Technical Support specialist to provide on-site technical assistance and support for network systems, hardware, and software. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SUPPORT OF IT ASSETS (LAPTOPS, DESKTOP PCs, TABLETS/iPADS & PRINTERS)
- PHYSICAL INSPECTION AND CLEANING
- SYSTEM HEALTH CHECKS
- OS AND FIRMWARE UPDATES
- PATCH MANAGEMENT AND ANTIVIRUS MONITORING
- PRINTER MAINTENANCE AND DRIVER UPDATES
- PERFORMANCE TESTING
- PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE REPORTING
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in technical support or field service roles.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good knowledge of network systems, hardware, and software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
