The Environment, Health & Safety Entry Analyst is a foundational role within the EHS department, focusing on the collection and analysis of environmental and safety data. This position involves conducting basic risk assessments, assisting with compliance audits, and supporting the implementation of EHS policies. The Entry Analyst works under direct supervision and is expected to develop a solid understanding of EHS regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis
• Gather and organize data from various sources
• Analyze data to identify trends and patterns
• Create reports and presentations to communicate findings
Environmental Compliance
• Review and interpret environmental regulations and policies
• Ensure company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate environmental risks
Risk Assessment
• Conduct environmental risk assessments for company operations
• Identify potential risks and develop plans to mitigate them
• Monitor and report on risk reduction efforts
Environmental Permitting
• Prepare and submit permit applications to regulatory agencies
• Track and manage permit renewals and updates
• Ensure all necessary permits are obtained and maintained
Stakeholder Engagement
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on environmental issues
• Collaborate with other departments to develop sustainable practices
• Represent company in meetings with regulatory agencies and community groups
Data Management and Reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date environmental data and records
• Generate regular reports on environmental performance and compliance
• Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for corrective actions

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
• Basic proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Comfortable using EHS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
