Job Summary
The Senior Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, governing, and executing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in SAP to meet operational, sales, and project requirements. The role ensures alignment between demand, capacity, and long‑term business objectives while driving planning accuracy, resource optimization, and on‑time delivery. The position leads cross‑functional coordination, identifies risks, implements mitigation plans, and provides clear visibility of production and material readiness. The Senior Master Scheduler also mentors junior planners and supports continuous improvement across planning processes.
Key Accountabilities
- Own and govern the Master Production Plan, ensuring alignment with demand, priorities, and operational strategy.
- Develop, release, and optimize production schedules using forecasts, capacity analysis, and scenario planning.
- Adjust the MPS proactively in response to engineering changes, material constraints, and demand variability.
- Act as the primary liaison with Program Management, Engineering, SCM, and Manufacturing to resolve planning issues.
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and effective use of SAP for production visibility and material tracking.
- Guide production planners to ensure alignment with the MPS and consistent execution of MRP processes.
- Plan and optimize capacity, labor, and material resources to maximize throughput and minimize delays.
- Analyze supply and demand, identify risks, and lead mitigation actions to improve service levels and inventory performance.
- Lead inventory optimization initiatives balancing working capital and service level requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- 12–14 years of experience in Planning and Scheduling with strong SAP Business Planning expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem‑solving skills with deep MRP/ERP knowledge.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Preferred: 9+ years in Defense, Aerospace, or Automotive with multi‑project planning experience.
