Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Service Associate - Food & Beverage to join our dynamic team in Visakhapatnam, India. In this role, you'll be the heart of our guest experience, delivering exceptional food and beverage service that exceeds expectations. - Welcome and greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive
- Deliver efficient and courteous food and beverage service while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Take accurate orders, answer guest inquiries about menu items and beverages, and provide personalized recommendations
- Manage multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining composure and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure guest satisfaction by actively listening to feedback, addressing concerns promptly, and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, tables, and equipment throughout your shift
- Communicate any operational concerns or guest feedback to management to support continuous improvement
- Support other departments as needed to ensure seamless hotel operations and exceptional guest experiences
- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing priorities and guest needs
Qualifications
- Fresher or 1-2 years of experience in food and beverage service, hospitality, or a related guest-facing role
- Hotel Management degree or equivalent hospitality qualification (preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests
- Excellent customer service orientation with a genuine passion for creating positive guest experiences
- Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining service standards and cleanliness
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support colleagues
- Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu items, and common beverages
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations with composure and professionalism
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a supportive and inclusive organizational culture
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform service-related tasks
