You can influence outcomes and meet diverse challenges.
This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.
In this role, you'll:
Join our Operations Program Management team, where you will contribute to the operational management of the transport network across regional and outer metropolitan NSW, supporting Renewable Energy Zone projects and broader network activities.
You will play a critical role in coordinating how the network responds to planned works, major projects, special events and seasonal pressures, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable journeys for customers. Working at the interface between project delivery and network operations, you will provide expert advice, manage impacts and support the integration of complex activities across the road network.
You will:
- Provide operational advice on project integration, planned works, special events and access requests, including oversize overmass (OSOM) vehicle movements across Renewable Energy Zone corridors
- Assess project proposals and network activities, supporting the development of operational plans, network strategies and access applications
- Coordinate and manage network impacts, influencing project schedules, methodologies and delivery approaches to optimise customer outcomes
- Identify and manage risks, contributing to mitigation strategies and ensuring compliance with legislation, standards and best practice network management
- Support road occupancy and access requirements for major and minor works, ensuring minimal disruption to the network and customer experience
- Deliver on-the-ground support during high-pressure periods, including major events and incident response
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project delivery with network performance and operational priorities.
This is a permanent full time position offering hybrid working options ideally from our Newcastle office, although other major regional hub locations may be considered. This position will also require state-wide travel on occasion, and working outside of standard business hours when required.

You are confident applying this knowledge to support safe and efficient outcomes.
You bring strong project and operational coordination capability, with the ability to assess proposals, identify risks and influence outcomes. You are comfortable working in dynamic environments, balancing competing priorities and responding to issues in real time.
You are a confident communicator who can provide clear, practical advice and build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You are collaborative, solutions-focused and able to navigate complex situations to achieve customer-focused outcomes.
