Midtown Table - An Italian-inspired full service restaurant is seeking an experienced
Artisan Bread Baker who is a master of their craft, shaping breads by hand using only the basic ingredients. This position requires a 5 day work week including Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or later if needed. No Sunday shift is required. Midtown Table is part of the locally owned Medure Brothers Culinary Concepts Restaurant Group that is currently comprised of 7 restaurants under 5 different brands. Essential Job Duties:
- Preparing, measuring, mixing, cooking, baking, and executing recipes from scratch including sourdough bread, French baguettes, and pasta
- Upholding sanitation standards for food preparation, clean working conditions, and maintaining organized pastry stations and equipment
- Ensuring necessary ingredients are on hand and maintaining inventory
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in baking breads from scratch - 2+ years
- Particular expertise producing naturally leavened, artisan breads
- Ability to follow recipes precisely
- Adept at using commercial bakery equipment
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Certificate in culinary arts, baking or relevant field desirable

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
