Responsibilities:
The Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH) Social Worker is responsible for providing clinical services to patients to assist EIOH professional (and support) staff in the delivery of comprehensive care to EIOH patients. The EIOH social worker is responsible for liaison with community agencies and other relevant providers, which impact patients at EIOH. The EIOH Social Worker provides direct clinical services to identified EIOH patients and their families to increase access to and improve utilization of dental services, on behalf of low-income and vulnerable individuals/families. The EIOH social worker participates in interdisciplinary collaboration with EIOH staff which includes research, training of staff, program development and orientation and training of new staff and residents.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
