Role Purpose
The Detail Production Scheduler is responsible for production planning processes (MPS and detailed scheduling), ensuring on-time delivery through effective scheduling, optimal resource utilization, and accurate execution in the ERP system. This role is critical to finished goods inventory management and overall plant operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate detailed production schedules to ensure the right product, in the right quantity, at the right time.
- Execute production planning activities (MPS and detailed scheduling).
- Maintain approved production plans and parameters for assemblies and finished goods in the ERP system.
- Manage finished goods inventory and support inventory control activities.
- Generate, validate, and distribute production planning and scheduling reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and scheduling processes.
- Collect, analyze, and report operational data to support decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal areas such as Production, Quality, Engineering, and Finance.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
- Coordinate material supply to production lines.
- Monitor operational KPIs such as OEE and DSA.
- Supervise and manage personnel assigned to the area.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (mandatory).
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, inventory management, or supply chain.
- ERP system management.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of quality and safety systems (ISO).
