Mission
In the context of lack of personnel in Finance department, we are looking after a specialized economist that will:
- Work with and supervise the accounting team regarding: accounting setup, invoice processing, tax and other reporting for local & BNPP group authorities.
- Ensure the correct recording of all the accounting operations performed by the team;
- Ensure the registration of all reporting and accounting operations within the legal deadlines imposed
- Establish and analyze the component of the account balances
- Respect the legal requirements in the tax and accounting field as well as the group requirements
Activities
I – Project transversal
- - Contribute to and participate in the project steering committees
- - Ensure the link between the CET finance team and Spain implementation team for the on-going projects and developments of the Business Central (former Navision) tool
- - Effectively communicate relevant information to the team and Chief Accountant;
II- Accountant – Manager level roles and responsibilities
- Validation of transactions booked by the team under supervision
- Preparing the financial statements and the corresponding notes;
- Financial support / consultancy provided to company management for new activities, products, partnerships;
- Validation of the financial clauses of the collaboration agreements with various partners;
- Internal reports for management analysis and permanent controls, reconciliations of clients and suppliers;
- Drawing up consolidation quarterly financial reports using data extracted from the accounting system and operational reports;
- Drawing up tax declarations and statistical reports;
- Give support for statutory audit and inspection generale with regard to accounting requirements;
- Give support to update the annual transfer pricing report according to the legal requirements;
- Performs periodic controls as part of the annual control plan;
Competencies
- Finance and Accounting operational experience
- Experience in local Romanian finance reporting
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Ability to understand the requirements and interpret/write technical specifications regarding ERP implementation
- Exposure to Navision is preferred but not mandatory
- Foreign language: English
