The Services Pricing Leader - MENA, owns pricing and competitive intelligence strategy, analytics and operations for the Gas Power Services business in the region. The individual’s primary role is to drive pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitable growth. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, with an analytical mindset and a strong ability to influence a broad group of stakeholders. Key measurements for this role include value price realized on orders and sales that yields margin expansion and competitive differentiation.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Owns the regional operationalization of the tools and processes needed to deliver $97M orders price in 2026, driving year-over-year improvements in margin. Monitoring price performance to identify risks and opportunities and drive actions for profitable growth
- Own the pricing and competitive intelligence strategy at a transaction level enabling the commercial team to maximize price and deliver their regional financial objectives.
- Partner with the global pricing team develop and maintain the price and competitive intelligence data, tools and processes needed to ensure that deals of all size can be priced based on lifecycle value through catalogue management, pricing and competitive intelligence IT systems, delegation of authority, price audits and strong partnership with regional teams
- LEAN Ambassador. Simplify legacy processes, drive elimination of Non-Value Added (NVA) work using the LEAN tools and principals. Own pricing KPI’s along with associated action plans and problem solving
- Effectively and regularly communicate on pricing and competitive intelligence activities, analysis, and performance throughout the organization
- People leadership. Lead, motivate, coach, develop, attract, retain & grow pricing and competitive intelligence talent pipeline
- Demonstrate thought leadership. Guide the region commercial team to understand how GE's price and offering compares to others in the market. Understand commercial trends incorporating win-loss data, 3rd party information sources and field interaction & provide with strategic or tactical responses to those trends
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience of which at least 4 years is in Pricing and Competitive Intelligence, Strategic Marketing, Sales, Commercial Operations, Commercial Finance or similar with significant pricing and competitive intelligence content
- Strong communication skills in English
- This role requires around 10% travel, primarily across MENA with occasional travel to other international locations
