Your opportunity:
Working with a dynamic team and under the general direction of the Director, Student Engagement and Campus Life, you will be dedicated to the enrichment of the co-curricular life of the campus, focused on supporting and developing student leaders and campus groups.
As the Coordinator, Student Campus Groups, your rolewill be developing, coordinating, and evaluating the programming and services that support student leaders within recognized campus groups and organizations, ensuring an emphasis on student development and equity. This will involve creating and delivering workshops to enhance leadership development, campus groups recognition, risk assessment of club events on-campus, applying conflict resolution skills to the club complaints process, and coaching and supporting clubs on the safe and successful execution of their events as their university liaison.
Your work will involve partnerships and communication with campus stakeholders. These partnerships will require you to work closely with the other positions within the Office of Student Experience and Wellbeing, as well as Facilities Management, Retail and Conference Services, the Office of the Registrar, the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Office, as well as tri-campus colleagues.
