Position description - Ribbon Communications is looking for a talented Consultant-Optical Engineer. Experts should promote DWDM and Software solution and develop business in Optical Domain
Responsibilities :
Candidate will be responsible for Business Development for Optical Networking. You will lead technical customer engagements and internal architectural discussions and requirements.
Play a key role in producing Solution documents, RFP /RFI responses, designs/documentation.
You’ll assist in the preparation of Bill of Quantity, RFx’s responses. Understand and identify new product features requirement for Product line Managers/Architects.
Customer product and technology presentations and workshops.
Communicate Product life Cycle management and Product Roadmaps to customers.
Provide mentorship and feedback to other Sales Engineers
Required Skills
Technical expertise in fiber optic transmission systems (WDM/OTN/IP /PTN), and network management
Knowledge on RFP’s Technical response
Ability to use planning tool efficiently. Prior knowledge of Planning tool is must
Build Trusted customer relationship
Time management and multitasking
Team player
