SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Responsible for accurate, timely, and compliant payroll administration for Malaysia and Singapore operations while supporting HR operational processes, employee lifecycle activities, and compensation & benefits initiatives. The role serves as a key partner to employees and HR stakeholders by delivering efficient payroll services, maintaining data integrity, ensuring statutory compliance, and driving continuous process improvements and system enhancements.Responsibilities:
Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing: data validation, calculation, reporting, and statutory filings (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, etc.).
Act as the primary contact for employees and HR partners on payroll matters, resolving queries promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate employee data and support lifecycle transactions (onboarding, transfers, exits).
Support HR operations including benefits administration, insurance updates, and payroll/statutory support for non-local employees.
Contribute to compensation & benefits initiatives such as salary benchmarking and insurance renewals.
Drive process improvements and participate in payroll transformation or system implementation projects.
Ensure compliance with legislation and internal governance standards, supporting audits when required.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on payroll experience, preferably in a manufacturing or regional/multi‑country environment.
Proven experience managing Malaysia and Singapore payroll end‑to‑end, with solid understanding of taxation (local and expatriate) and statutory requirements in both countries.
Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., Timesoft, WorkDay, or similar) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience in HRMS/HRIS implementation or system migration is an advantage.
Good knowledge of salary‑related accounting and taxation principles.
