The Role
As an entry-level Systems Specialist, you will support the configuration, maintenance and performance of system applications. Working closely with experienced team members, you will develop your technical skills across software, hardware and networking environments. This role is primarily office-based with attendance at customer sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
·Provide applications support across security platforms under supervision
·Assist with software and system configuration tasks
·Assist with hardware setup including servers and networking equipment
·Support troubleshooting of system, software and network issues
·Track customer support tickets through to resolution
·Support internal teams and customers with technical queries
·Assist in understanding system design and project requirements
·Maintain documentation and system records
Skills & Experience
·Interest or basic knowledge in IT, networking or electronic systems
·Exposure to IP networking concepts is desirable
·Interest in software applications and system configuration
·Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
·Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
·Good communication skills
·Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Licences & Requirements
·NSW Driver’s Licence
·White Card (or willingness to obtain)
·Ability to obtain an AFP Police Check
·Working towards or interest in IT / Networking qualification
