Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Training and assessing the Certificate II and III in Plumbing, post trade competencies and skill sets in the classroom and simulated work environment
- Develop effective working relationships with students and employers whilst mentoring and training
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of RTO programs
- Monitor apprentice training plans and ensure timely progression of our students through their courses
- Delivering engaging, hands-on training and assessment in a supportive environment
What You Will Bring
- Hands-on industry experience in all aspects of Plumbing work
- Qualified in TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Passion for mentoring and helping others succeed - inspire and support students throughout their learning
- Strong communication and people-focused skills - able to engage students of all backgrounds
- Adaptability — able to modify training materials to suit different learning styles
- Reasonable level of computer skills
