Job Title: PreK4–8 Music Teacher (Full-Time) School: Holy Family School School Year: 2026–2027 Position Overview: Holy Family School, a Catholic PreK4–8 community dedicated to academic excellence and faith formation, is seeking a passionate and qualified Music Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of music while supporting the mission of Catholic education by integrating faith, creativity, and musical skill development in the classroom. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate music instruction for students in grades K–8 • Teach foundational music concepts such as rhythm, melody, harmony, notation, and music appreciation • Incorporate liturgical music and assist with school Masses, prayer services, and religious celebrations • Prepare students for performances, including concerts, school programs, and special events • Foster a positive classroom environment rooted in Catholic values and respect for all learners • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students • Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school initiatives and events • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and participation Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music, or a related field (required) • Teaching experience preferred, particularly at the elementary and/or middle school level • Valid teaching certification preferred, or willingness/ability to obtain certification through an alternative certification program • Experience with vocal and/or instrumental music instruction • Familiarity with Catholic liturgy and a willingness to support the spiritual life of the school • Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills Personal Attributes: • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education • Enthusiasm for working with children and fostering their musical and personal growth • Creativity, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit • Strong interpersonal and communication skills Employment Details: • Full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications • Benefits package available (if applicable)
