

About the Program
Abt PNG Management Services is a shared services platform supporting five programs based in PNG.
The five programs include:
Australia PNG Economic Partnership (APEP)
Australia PNG Subnational Program (APSP)
PNG Australia Transition to Health (PATH)
PNG Partnership for Improving Education (PIE)
PNG Women's Lead (PNGWL)
The Abt PNG Management Service department supports the delivery of the above mentioned Abt Programs through corporate services functions across seven teams including Finance & Travel, People & Culture, Procurement, Grant Management, Legal & Contracts, ICT, Facilities & Logistics and Safety & Security.
About the Opportunity
This role provides front office and administrative support to ensure smooth day to day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for;
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and walk-in enquiries in an effective and efficient manner and maintain a visitor register book.
Provide support to maintaining stationery supplies, office equipment and cleaning services in an effective and efficient manner.
Assist with the stocktake and ordering of office stationery and supplies.
Obtain quotations and provide support with raising purchase orders as required.
Issue prepaid phone credits ensuring to replenish the portals monthly.
Provide support to the organisation of events and catering for official functions and meetings.
Monitor and manage all incoming written communication as directed.
Work closely with the janitorial team in coordinating support to office activities as required.
Assist with tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Always develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with team members and address colleagues and the client in a professional and courteous manner.

About You

Relevant undergraduate degree/qualification in accounting, business administration or other.
Demonstrated understanding of financial administration and operational procedures.
2 to 3 years of work experience in a similar role or office administrative role.
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Independent thinker, able to multi-task and stay focused.
Working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Suite (mainly Word, Excel and Outlook).
Able to plan and coordinate logistics (when needed).
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-cultural team.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
High level of attention to detail.
Punctual, responsible, and reliable.
