Key Responsibilities:
1.Loan Processing & Operations Management
Oversee end-to-end loan processing for Solar Rooftop projects (Residential & Commercial), from application initiation to disbursement, across Jan Samarth (Government portal) and NBFC lending partners.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance in all loan documentation submitted to Government portals and lending institutions.
Monitor application pipelines across all channels and resolve bottlenecks to meet TAT (Turnaround Time) targets for pushed loans.
Track and manage TATs of all pushed loans on a daily basis, ensuring timely progression through each stage of the loan lifecycle.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, mentor, and manage the Loans team to achieve business targets.
Assign daily tasks to team members, track completion, and ensure end-of-day status updates on all active loan cases.
Set performance KPIs and regularly review team productivity and efficiency.
Provide training and guidance to enhance team capabilities in handling Jan Samarth portal
processes and NBFC loan workflows.
3. Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the key point of contact for lenders, bank officials, customers, and internal sales teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, NBFC partners, and banking officials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth loan processing and resolution of inter-departmental dependencies.
4. Customer Experience & Query Resolution
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely updates and issue resolution.
Handle escalations and provide quick, effective solutions with a customer-first approach.
Demonstrate strong soft skills and interpersonal abilities to manage a diverse range of customers — from individual homeowners to commercial clients (including non-tech savvy customers) as well as bank and NBFC officials.
5. Process Improvement & Compliance
Identify process gaps in loan facilitation workflows (including Jan Samarth and NBFC channels) and implement improvements for operational efficiency.
Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, government portal guidelines, and lender-specific norms.
Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness at all times.
Responsible for overall data updation on Freyr Energy Platform (FEP)
6. Reporting, MIS & Leadership Updates
Track daily, weekly, and monthly loan processing metrics across all channels with priority resolution of pending projects.
Prepare and present weekly update reports to the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Operating
Officer (COO), covering loan pipeline status, disbursement progress, bottlenecks, and action items.
Share insights and reports with senior management for strategic decision-making.
Maintain accurate records of all loan transactions and activities.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
•
Graduation in any discipline (MBA / Finance preferred).
•
5 years of experience in loan processing, financial services, or NBFC/banking domain.
•
Strong leadership and team management skills.
•
Excellent communication (English & Hindi languages), interpersonal, and soft skills with the
ability to handle a diverse range of customers and bank officials.
•
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
•
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
•
Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, MIS preparation, and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
•
Experience in solar financing / consumer durable loans / secured & unsecured loans.
•
Hands-on experience with Jan Samarth portal and government subsidy-linked loan schemes.
•
Exposure to multiple lender partnerships, NBFC products, and financial products.
•
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks applicable to solar rooftop financing.
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
