POSITION SUMMARY
- The objective of this role is to plan all production, stamping and hood loader operations, according to PRP demands established in ERP. Lead the Shipping/Receiving department. Support the production processes and shipping/receiving by ensuring that these processes have all necessary products and support available to meet production / customer requirements.
Your tasks.
- Plan daily/weekly/monthly production per PRP demand established by Customer Service. – working closely with the toolroom, production and customer service departments to ensure orders are completed on time.
- Oversee raw material, packaging, etc. that they are available for scheduled runs, including ordering of all packaging and production support supplies and ensuring accuracy of associated inventories.
- Schedule all shipments and track all product requiring secondary operations. IE Plating. Maintaining communications with designated sub-contractors.
- Support ERP functions by being the SPA for system issues and corrections. Work with IT to continuously improve the ERP performance and efficiency for plant operation.
- Responsible for assuring the proper documentation of all assigned aspects of the manufacturing operation metrics are performed and recorded according to IATF requirements.
- Coordinate the Training for shipping receiving personnel as needed.
- Lead the Shipping Receiving Personnel. Including time and attendance, hiring and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure all Final Audited finished goods are placed into the warehouse in a timely manner by the Shipping/Receiving Clerk for efficient flow through in this area.
- Receive all direct and indirect invoices and materials into ERP.
- Report first time quality of production to plant manager and controller on a monthly basis.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly production, scrap, and OEE reports.
- Work closely with finance to ensure production and sales targets are met.
- Ensure all scrap is weighed, logged.

- Report any deviation on the environmental operational controls established and communicate improvement initiatives.

Your profile.
- Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years documented manufacturing experience.
- Work requires the ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations well enough to generate and maintain accurate records and reports as normally acquired through completion of a high school education.

- Skill/ knowledge requirements:
- Analytical skills necessary in decision making and problem solving in: scheduling, making recommendations, costs, purchases, etc.
- Exceptional communication skills are required for the effective training/guiding of personnel and dealing with customer concerns and requirements.
- Forklift certified or be willing to learn to drive forklift.
- Working Conditions:
- Must have the ability to move about 50% of the work time to gather and distribute information and reports, and to stay in one place for 50% of the time to analyze and prepare documentation and/or reports.
- Must be able to adapt to changes in activities and plans to accommodate changing schedules.
- Must have the ability to travel on business as necessary.
