We are looking for our next Art Director. In this role, you will guide the brand's visual identity by developing innovative, impactful, and high-quality content across all channels - including still imagery, motion, social media, e-commerce, brand campaigns, and partnerships.
You ensure the brand's visual narrative remains consistent, high-quality, and culturally relevant by working cross-functionally across the organisation, with a particularly close collaboration with Graphic Design to create a cohesive and compelling brand expression.
What we are looking for
You are passionate about Axel Arigato's aesthetic and fashion culture - self-motivated, collaborative, and quality-focused, with a commercial mindset and an eye for what makes a brand's visual language resonate.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Develop concepts for still and motion campaigns, including mood boards, visual research, layout direction, and narrative structure
Lead creative projects from ideation to execution, ensuring brand alignment and marketing goals
Select and collaborate with photographers, directors, set designers, and other creative partners; manage talent rosters
Direct on set to maintain creative standards and achieve high-quality results
Oversee post-production, including image selection, retouching feedback, and grading for e-commerce and campaign assets
Collaborate with Graphic Design on marketing materials like newsletters, invites, ads, and social media content
Establish creative guidelines, templates, and briefs for cross-department use
Ensure consistent adherence to the brand's visual identity across all channels
Manage asset sharing and maintain visibility of upcoming releases
Lead shoot planning, including concept development, casting, photographer research, shot lists, and pre-production
ARE YOU THE ONE?
Minimum two years of experience in art direction, preferably in fashion or lifestyle
Ability to deliver both print and digital concepts; video editing a plus
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual and execution skills
Engaged with Axel Arigato's aesthetic and fashion culture
Self-motivated, collaborative, and quality-focused
Detail-oriented with commercial mindset and digital savvy
Organized multitasker with excellent problem-solving abilities
Curious about and actively exploring AI tools as part of the creative process, with an interest in integrating them into art direction and visual workflows
