We are seeking a motivated and proactive professional to join its Compliance, Risk & Governance team in Cyprus.

The successful candidate will undertake the regulated role of Risk Officer under the CySEC framework while also supporting the wider Compliance, Risk and Governance team across a broad range of regulatory, governance and business support matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level professional looking to further develop within a dynamic international financial services environment and gain broad exposure across compliance, risk management, governance and regulatory operations.

The role reports directly to senior management and forms part of the wider Compliance, Risk & Governance team, working closely with the Compliance Officer, AML Compliance Officer, Operations Team and Executive Management team in supporting the Company’s ongoing regulatory and governance functions.

Role Overview

The Company’s Risk Management Framework is already established and operational. As such, the role will primarily focus on the ongoing monitoring, maintenance and oversight of the framework.

In addition to undertaking the regulated role of Risk Officer, the successful candidate will support the wider Compliance, Risk & Governance team with ongoing regulatory monitoring, onboarding reviews, approvals, policy implementation, governance documentation and maintenance of internal registers.

The role will also provide broader support across corporate, legal, governance, operational and administrative matters, offering exposure to a wide range of day-to-day regulatory and business activities within a regulated financial services environment.

Risk Management

· Support the Company’s Risk Management function and undertake the regulated position of Risk Officer under the CySEC framework under the guidance and oversight of senior management

· Support the ongoing maintenance and monitoring of the Company’s Risk Management Framework

· Assist in identifying, monitoring and documenting key business and regulatory risks

· Maintain the Risk Register, Incident Log and related monitoring documentation

· Support ongoing monitoring of internal controls and mitigation measures

· Assist in the preparation of periodic risk reporting and regulatory submissions

· Support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of risk-related policies and procedures

· Assist with regulatory, audit and internal governance requests where required

Compliance, Governance & Business Support

· Support the wider Compliance, Risk & Governance team on regulatory, governance and business support matters

· Assist with onboarding reviews, internal approvals and ongoing monitoring activities

· Support policy and procedure implementation and ongoing reviews

· Assist with the maintenance of internal registers, governance records and regulatory documentation

· Support corporate governance and company secretarial matters, including filings, registers and coordination with external service providers where required

· Assist with legal and contractual documentation reviews, due diligence exercises and agreement administration

· Assist with internal coordination, operational follow-ups and regulatory documentation requests

· Monitor regulatory developments and support implementation where required

· Assist with internal reviews, audits and regulatory inspections

· Support monitoring activities relating to CySEC, MiFID II and AML requirements

Group Support

· Provide support on governance and risk-related initiatives across the wider Skybound Group where required

· Assist in promoting a strong compliance and risk culture across the business

Requirements

· Approximately 1–3 years of experience within Compliance, Legal, Risk, Governance, Consulting or Financial Services would be considered an advantage

· University degree in Risk Management, Law, Finance, Economics, Business, Business Management, Political Science or another relevant field

· Basic to good understanding of CySEC regulatory requirements and MiFID II framework

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

· Strong organisational and analytical skills

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team

Preferred

· CySEC Advanced Certification

· Previous experience within a CySEC regulated firm

· Previous exposure to Compliance and/or Risk Management Frameworks and regulatory reporting

· Professional qualifications or certifications in Compliance, AML, Risk, Governance or Financial Regulation (including CySEC, ICA or similar certifications) will be considered an advantage

· Knowledge of Greek will be considered an advantage
