Position: Junior Front-End Web Developer

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 11:00 AM – 08:00 PM PH Time Zone (Mid Shift)

Holidays to follow: United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Salary Budget: Php 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 gross salary package

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1–2 years of experience in web development (or strong project portfolio).
• Knowledgeable in Next.js, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches (Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or styled-components).
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and how to consume them from the frontend.
• Awareness of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Willingness to learn AI tools and new frameworks.
• Good English communication skills.
• Can work independently with guidance and is eager to grow.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of ILS (Integrated Logistic Support).
• Basic understanding of version control (Git).
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, React Query).
• Familiarity with UI component libraries (Material UI, shadcn/ui, Ant Design).
• Experience with school projects, internships, or bootcamp training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Web Development Support:

• Assist in building and updating web pages using Next.js (React) TypeScript.
• Help implement responsive, user-friendly UI components following design specifications.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs (CRUD operations, authentication, file uploads).
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) mainly for coding assistance.

B. Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

• Help check browser console logs, errors, and user-reported UI issues.
• Perform basic debugging of frontend issues under guidance.
• Assist in fixing simple bugs and implementing small UI updates.
• Document changes and follow established coding guidelines.

C. Team Collaboration:

• Work with senior developers for task assignments and code reviews.
• Communicate progress clearly during stand-ups.
• Follow best practices and be open to coaching and mentoring.
