Systems Engineer II Hybrid

Full time, Singapore

 

The Systems Engineer I is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and contributing to the implementation of enterprise server infrastructure solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server platforms, VMware vSphere virtualization, and core Active Directory services within a globally distributed enterprise environment.

 

The position suits a technically focused individual who is eager to develop their skills, stay current with evolving technologies, and deliver high-quality infrastructure services while operating within business constraints.

 

As a Systems Engineer II, you will

• Provide operational support and engineering expertise across Windows Server environments within an enterprise infrastructure
• Administer, support, and enhance Microsoft Windows Server platforms, including Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025
• Implement, configure, and maintain Active Directory services, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and related domain services
• Support and manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere
• Perform Windows systems administration tasks, including automation and integration through scripting (PowerShell)
• Participate in server hardware implementation, maintenance, and monitoring, ideally with Dell PowerEdge platforms
• Collaborate with global infrastructure teams to deliver and integrate solutions across multiple regions
• Stay current with technology trends and emerging infrastructure solutions
• Balance rapid technical delivery with an understanding of operational and business requirements
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a distributed team

 

About you

• Prior experience administering Microsoft Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025)
• Hands-on experience with Dell PowerEdge servers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to take direction, collaborate effectively, and work independently 
• Solid understanding of networking infrastructure and core networking concepts
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation is a plus
• Exposure to or experience with Nutanix AOS/AHV platforms is preferred but not required
