Crib attendant

Kapco Tool & Die Ltd. is a full-service supplier of progressive, transfer and tandem dies, specializing in deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel (UHSS) and complex stamping dies.

We are currently looking for a Tool Crib Attendant/Shipper/Receiver to complement our team.

We are recruiting for a vacant position.

Salary Range - $19.00 - $22.00

Experienced individuals will have the following qualifications to meet the needs of the position:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Tool & Die.
• Computer Skills, required
• Experience using an overhead crane
• Experience using measuring tools such as a tape measure and vernier
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

This position will report to the Plant Buyer and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Place inventory orders through purchasing
• Perform weekly and month end inventory of stock crib items
• Load any stock crib items into toolboss vending machines
• Receive, unload and inspect shipments and alert if any issue with shipments
• Measure steel to ensure correct to the material list
• Mark packing slips as received
• When receiving jobs, identify correctly and put items on job shelf
• Produce shipping labels

• Delivery or pick up of supplies as required

• To perform tasks as directed by supervisor
