The company
For the first time, robots are working as efficient nursing
assistants in real healthcare facilities, every day. Norbert
Health, founded by AI pioneers, made this possible by
adding a proprietary physical AI and medical-grade module on wheeled
robots — see video.
Norbert-enabled robots capture vitals contactlessly, measure patient
mobility and activity, and converse with patients in multiple
languages. This multi-modal patient data is fed into AI models to
generate clinical decision support reports that help physicians make
the right clinical decisions (more info there).
We are currently deployed across several hundred beds in skilled
nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the US, and are rapidly
growing our footprint. Our compliance rate is north of
80% and we surface clinically impactful measures in 24% of our
autonomous visits and 40% of our monthly reports. In other words, the
system works and is impactful.
We signed two large deals that represent $12m contracted ARR. We are
the only company operating robots with a clinical impact in
facilities, every single day. Several large and well funded robotics
companies have expressed interest in partnering with us. 2026 is the
year robots will rapidly enter the world and healthcare. These will
be Norbert-powered robots — see post here.
The position
This is a fractional CMO role (0.5 to 2 days per week) for a
physician who wants to shape the clinical direction of a

clinical certification processes, ensuring our robotic care
assistant meets the highest standards for safety and regulatory
compliance; partner with the team on usability testing with clinical
end-users

perspective into our roadmap, help identify unmet clinical needs,
evaluate proposed features, and ensure what we build genuinely
improves workflows for the providers who use it
-
Medical affairs & thought leadership: represent Norbert
Health at medical conferences and industry events, present clinical
findings, build relationships with key opinion leaders, and help
position our technology within the broader clinical community

Clinical advisory: serve as a senior clinical resource
internally, advising on medical accuracy, clinical protocols, and
any issues that arise at the intersection of medicine and technology
Who you are

primary care, remote care, geriatric care or other relevant
specialty
-
Experienced with health technology, digital health, or medical
