Our Maintenance team is now looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our unit in Ovar, Portugal. In this role, you will be part of our maintenance operations organization—implementing the inspection and maintenance processes to ensure efficiency, reliability, and safety across our operations.
Here’s what we expect of you:
Plan & Coordinate: Organize and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations—even when dealing with unexpected issues.
Troubleshoot & Solve: Diagnose equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and carry out high-quality repairs and inspections.
Improve Processes: Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to support installation and commissioning activities.
Manage Resources: Oversee maintenance tools, spare parts, and equipment, including sourcing specialized components when needed.
Support & Lead: Provide guidance, training, and support to the team, acting as role model.
What you need to be successful in this role:
BSc/MSc in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering preferred (other Engineering might be considered).
Solid leadership experience.
Good knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical industrial maintenance.
Good command of English.
Excellent interpersonal skills, such as communication and negotiation, teamwork and proactivity.
Strong team and project leadership skills.
Analytical thinking, methodical ways of working and motivation to join a fast-pace and demanding working environment.
