About The Opportunity
Records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.Essential Functions
Performs transactions in business system(s) to assure accurate tracking of product inventories
Conducts physical inventory audits, job packet review, cycle counts, damaged material management, and waste tracking and disposal as needed
Resolves inventory inconsistencies
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management process and information flow
May be required to interpret schedule to make printed labels and placards
May be responsible for managing &/or ordering production supplies
May assist &/or be responsible to complete movements in customer WMS
Prepares required business reports
Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $16 - $21.50
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
Ability to effectively work in teams
Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
Detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to properly handle confidential information and records
Excellent Team collaborations skills
Action oriented and excellent problem solving skills
Ability to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies
Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting; time may also be spent in an office
Frequent walking, standing, bending for duration of shift
Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
