About the role
The Project Leader – Regional Projects role is a position responsible for leading and delivering complex capital (Category D) and large non‑capital projects across regional areas, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. The role involves end‑to‑end project and contract management, coordination of consultants and contractors, works inspections, and strong engagement with internal and external stakeholders. A strong focus is placed on safety leadership, compliance, and ethical conduct, along with sound technical, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. The position operates with financial responsibility for projects of approximately $3 million and requires significant experience in engineering project management, ideally within the water or infrastructure sector.
