We are hiring an AlgoSec Resident Engineer to join our Sales team and work with ANZ/ SEA based customers.
Reporting to: AlgoSec Resident Engineers Manager
Location: Melbourne/ Sydney (Home Office)

Responsibilities:
- Monitoring, operating and maintaining AlgoSec products, troubleshooting assistance, upgrade planning, knowledge transfer of key sections of the product.
- Perform product customizations to a certain level. Consult customer with best practices and being their 'Trusted Advisor'.
- Working in tight integration with Sales, Delivery, Support, CSM, and R&D departments.Act as AlgoSec’s eyes & ears: monitor shifts in customer technical landscape, org structures, or priorities, and escalate key insights to internal teams (Customer Success, Product, Strategy).
Requirements
Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, in a software company.
- Need NV1 security clearance.
- Experience in Linux/UNIX environments.
- Experience with networking devices (Switches, Routers etc.)
- Experience in firewall administration and configuration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto etc.)
- Experience working with Cloud platforms and managing Cloud Security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to operate under pressure in deadline-driven situations and business emergencies.
- Experience dealing with Global customers.
- Customer oriented and ability to establish customer’s trust.
- Problem solver, result driven, demonstrating a ‘make it happen’ attitude, attention to details.
- Team player, pleasant to work with, with a high level of integrity, bright, self-learner.
- Ability to identify and escalate revenue-driving adoption or expansion signals.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, working on-site (ANZ/ SEA) with AlgoSec customers.
