Milacron is looking for a Global Category Manager – Auxiliaries, Finished Goods, and Gearbox to join our team in Batavia, Ohio. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies for auxiliaries, finished goods, and gearboxes that optimize cost, quality, delivery, and risk while supporting Milacron’s complete-solutions strategy and aftermarket service model. Work You’ll Do: • Develop and execute global category strategies aligned with enterprise objectives, including auxiliaries, finished goods, and gearbox supply. • Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation, and long-term supplier relationship management across global regions. • Formalize and optimize the supply base to support sales of complete customer solutions and aftermarket gearbox repair and rebuild services. • Monitor global market trends, cost drivers, tariffs, and supply risks; adjust sourcing strategies to ensure continuity and competitiveness. • Partner closely with engineering, operations, quality, finance, and commercial teams to align supplier capabilities with customer and product requirements. Qualifications: Must Have: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • 6-7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management within manufacturing or industrial environments. • Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, contract development, and cost management. • Experience managing global suppliers and supply chains. • Ability to calculate and manage Total Cost of Ownership including part cost, freight, duty, and tariffs. Nice to Have: • Experience with capital equipment, auxiliaries, gearboxes, or aftermarket service supply chains. • MBA or advanced degree, or equivalent experience. • Experience leveraging AI or advanced analytics for sourcing, supplier performance, or risk management. • Familiarity with lean principles and supplier development practices.
