We are looking for a Patient Relations Representative to join our team and be the welcoming face of our organization. In this key role, you’ll ensure a smooth, positive experience for our patients from the moment they arrive to the time they leave.
Essential Job Functions: • Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional attitude • Verify patient information, insurance documents, and referrals; update records as needed • Answer phones, schedule appointments and follow-ups, and relay messages efficiently • Accurately enter patient information into the database • Assist with completing patient and clinic forms when necessary
Minimum Education and Experience: • High School Diploma or GED • Strong computer and data entry skills • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting • Friendly, professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations: • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers. • 5 years' related experience or training preferred. • Level I fingerprint clearance card: current valid and in good standing or have applied for it within seven working days after beginning employment. • Employees in this position are required to have reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of the organization during the workday. If an employee is driving during work hours, the employee is required to possess a valid driver’s license and must be in compliance with Arizona vehicle insurance requirements.
Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities: Bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to speak, read and write in both languages.
