As VP Global Head of Supply Chain (m/f/d), you will lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for our Business Unit Biopharma in TechOps. You ensure reliable, compliant, and cost‑effective delivery of biosimilars to patients worldwide. In this critical leadership role, you shape a resilient, scalable global supply network across internal and external partners.
This position can be based in Switzerland, Austria or Germany.
Define and execute the global supply chain strategy for biosimilars across DS, DP and finished products
Lead integrated business planning (IBP / S&OP) and translate strategy into actionable supply plans
Ensure reliable supply by managing internal manufacturing sites and external CMO partnerships
Drive demand, capacity, and inventory planning across a complex global network
Secure launch readiness and lead lifecycle supply management, including tech transfers and product changes
Oversee logistics, distribution, and cold-chain operations to ensure high service levels
Manage supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies for capacity and sourcing constraints
Drive financial performance through cost optimization, inventory management, and KPI governance
Build and lead a high-performing global supply chain organization
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Finance
University degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred)
Extensive experience (typically 15+ years) in relevant leadership roles within supply chain or manufacturing in biopharma, biotech, or biologics
Proven track record in leading end-to-end global supply chains, including internal production and CMOs
Deep understanding of biologics manufacturing and supply processes (DS/DP/FP), including quality and regulatory requirements
Strong expertise in IBP/S&OP, demand planning, and supply risk management
Experience managing complex global matrix organizations and influencing senior stakeholders
Strong analytical, strategic, and financial acumen (COGS, working capital, inventory)
Strong resilience, adaptability, and flexibility to navigate ambiguity, manage change, and lead effectively in dynamic, fast-paced global environments
Leadership experience with a clear ability to develop effective teams
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
